Purpose:
Upgraded radar station
Description:
It is intended for air targets reconnaissance, two coordinate
(range and azimuth) measurement and tracking
with trace characteristics issuing, “friend-or-foe”
interrogation of air objects – aircraft and howering
helicopters, remote controlled vehicles and cruise missiles,
including low-flying and extremely low-flying,
on base of intensive reflections from the Earth surface,
local objects and meteorological formations. Limits of
operating characteristics are extended in comparison
with P-19M radar.
