Purpose:
Inspection pipe
Description:
It is used together with the VPKhR and PPKhR chemical survey devices, as well as in military
chemical laboratories for detection of organophosphorous toxic agents of sarin and
soman type, V-gases in the air and in other environments. The pipe must provide the
detection of toxic agents at analyzable air flow not less than 1.8 l/min in two ranges of
mass concentrations:
I range: mass concentrations of sarin and soman vapors and V-gases in the air analyzable
are from 5∙10-5 mg/l and more;
II range: mass concentrations of sarin vapors in the air analyzable are from 5∙10-6 mg/l
and more, and soman vapors and V-gases are from 2∙10-6 mg/l and more.
