Purpose:
Upgraded mobile radio altimeter
Description:
It is intended for determination of air target altitude by
target designator data.
During the upgrading the new device the MRA extractor
is added to the PRV-16, which main purpose is to control
the PRV-16, PRV-16A and PRV-16B radio altimeter, as
well as to provide the automatic or semiautomatic measuring
of target altitude. Communication line range is not
less than 500 m.
The altimeter deployment and stowage time in any conditions
is not more than 15 minutes.
The altimeter turn-on time under condition of warmed
up power supply aggregates is not more than 3 minutes.
The altimeter includes targets and noises imitator.
