Purpose:
Low-flying target detection solid-state radar station
Description:
It is intended for automatic reconnaissance of air lowflying
targets (up to 5 000 m), as well as measurement
of azimuth and range of targets detected.
Main advantages of P-190U radar station:
large set of probing signals permits the user to select the
best one based upon specific combat mission, as well as
air and jamming environment;
probing signals parameters (operating frequency, modulation
type, radiation temporary pattern) are modernized;
retuning of signal parameters may be organized both by
the program preset and by randomness principle (at that it is necessary to stress that the
retuning of probing signal parameters is not effect on passive jamming suppression);
signal-to-noise ratio in amplitude operation mode is increased owing to matched filtering
of signals received which increases the target detection range and coordinates
measurement accuracy;
dynamic range of signal processing is increased considerably (over 100 dB) increased
which increases considerably the station jamming protection;
effective algorithm of passive jamming with automatic compensation of wind velocity
is introduced;
automatic switching of amplitude and coherent channels is realized which reduced the
signal losses, increased the target detection range and increased the coordinates measurement
accuracy;
it is realized in full scale the functions of radar (video) extractor for automatic afterdetector
processing of reflected signals (detection, coordinates measurement, marks
formation, jamming map, between-scan-processing, false alarm level stabilization, as
well as identification signals processing and information distribution and transfer to the
users);
power consumption is reduced;
practical design which considerably facilitate the radar operation;
effective scheme of troubleshooting for all the radar elements with convenient interface.
Entirely automated processing of radar information excludes from the processing stages
one of its weak link – a man-operator, and permits to separate the radar and control
posts by such distance which prevents the control post defeat by homing missiles aimed
to the radar, which considerably increase the control system survivability.
