Purpose:
Upgraded radar station
Description:
It is intended for reconnaissance of air targets in wide altitude range, determination of
azimuth and range of target detected.
While equipment upgrading the modern principles and technologies of transmitting
and receiving radar devices, as well as modern methods of forming and processing of
complex radar signals and protection against jamming were used. Target detection, its
coordinates determination and radar data issuing to the user are carried out by automatic
way.
In this radar variant the main radar channel is used only.
Electric power supply system is upgraded. New 3-phase asynchronous electric motors
with reduced-current start and reliable protection controlled from industrial frequency
transformer are installed.
In fact, the functions of radar and automatic control system are joined in the radar, so
it may carry out the tasks of the control post (command post) also by receiving and
processing of data obtained from other radar means.
