Purpose:
Radio-electronic environment monitoring complex
Description:
It provides the detection and analysis of signals with
pulse and continuous radiations, as well as identification
of practically all known at present day radio-frequency
radiation sources which are installed on ground-based,
surface and air carriers; besides, it provides the early
warning functions for the Air Defense system of the
country and fulfill the information support for corps of
the Armed Forces.
It can provide the effective detection and measurement
of target coordinates at the ranges up to 600 km, as well
as target tracking and movement traces formation for
up to 200 air targets in all-round sector within direct visibility range. The complex consists
of one central and three side-located Kolchuga stations.
