Passenger carriage:
economic class for 52 persons (pitch of seats is 780 mm).
Mixed transportation economic class:
for 36 persons, cargo is 1 650 kg;
for 28 persons, cargo is 2 650 kg;
for 20 persons, cargo is 3 650 kg.
FUNCTIONAL FEATURES
The aircraft is a cantilever monoplane with tapered high-wing, fixed single-stabilizer tale mounted on the fuselage. The aircraft is intended for operation in all-weather conditions.
The size of luggage/cargo compartment of the An-140-100 aircraft is by 1.3–1.5 times more than cargo compartment the same class aircraft. After the passenger seats removal from the front part of passenger cabin the cargo transportation on special pallets is possible. For this purpose on fuselage right-hand side the cargo door is provided and floor is equipped with proper removable attachments. Landing gear of improved cross-country ability with low-pressure tires and engine high arrangement (which eliminate rotors and air inlets damage by foreign subjects during take-off/landing) permit to operate the aircraft with soil, pebbled, icy and snow-covered airfields and areas.
